This Book will reveal the wholly unbiblical underpinnings of Seventh Day Adventism

“Understanding the theme in this book will reveal to the world the unbiblical heresy of the Adventist Church. Comparing this work to the Bible itself and what it teaches will reveal Adventism and the Great Controversy theme to be heresy of the highest order”- Ross Cooper

If you truly want to understand the heresy being perpetrated by the denomination known as Seventh Day Adventists I would recommend this book.  In fact I’d recommend this book for any Evangelical who is concerned about this so called Christian denomination and for any Adventist that is concerned that what they are being taught might in fact NOT to Biblically sound.

God send His final messenger in the form of His son Jesus Christ, no further clarity is needed, the Bible does a wonderful job of explaining itself. Yet SDA’s espouse Ellen G. White, who failed at the simplest test of a prophet (by predicting she and others she knew would be alive when Christ returned), but is very much dead- to be a “continuing and authoritative source of truth”. Even to go so far as to place her words within the text of the Bible itself, and to change the Bible to fit her writings in The Clear Word, which when first released was known as The Clear Word Bible.

You know what I’d advise you to get one of those too, because one good book of heresy deserves another. Even a casual reading of either of these books will reveal that fact that Adventism has taken it upon themselves to manufacture their own truth, and in doing so is dragging soul after soul away from the Christ of the Bible.

As a former Adventist PK (Pastors’ Kid) I can’t tell you an more strongly how I abhor the cult from which I escaped, through the power and grace of God and the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

Pick up The Heartbeat of Adventism and The Clear Word so that you can be fully prepared to refute any Adventist who might try and deceive you, and so you can get a clear understanding of their hypocrisy.

In Christ,

Ross, what drivel. Perhaps if you had taken some notice of what Seventh-day Adventists really believe – Ellen White was referring to being alive to see Jesus return, if not before she died a natural death earlier, because she believed in the 2nd resurrection in which Jesus’ return will be visible – when you were a child, and not spent all the time in the hallways talking about Terminator and NOT studying your lesson, you would know that the Seventh-day Adventist Church is NOT a cult. The rubbish you valued over God, the lies and fantasy you held to so firmly, have had an effect. It is extremely sad.
I am sorry you won’t be attending the Seventh-day Adventist churches because of your abhorrence of SDAs. Strong, unkind words for many sincere Christians who are traveling their own spiritual journey, who have cared for you for many years and still do, and pray for you.
I, like many, are praying that you will reconsider your erroneous conclusions and really open your heart to the working of the Holy Spirit.
    Praying for you always,

It’s nice to know that you’re reading the blog, I hope you’re reading the other post as well as they will help you to a clearer Biblical understanding of scripture. An understanding that does not need to be propped up by Ellen G. White who made many other false predictions regardless of how you interpret them. The rule of prophets hasn’t changed, in the Old Testament one false prophecy was enough, enough to be stoned to death.

Jesus Christ Himself in John 14:1-3 and then again through Paul on numerous occasions taught of a coming for the Church, followed by the Judgment Seat of Christ in Heaven, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb in Heaven, and a Glorious return to Earth in great power for all the world to see at the culmination of the battler of Armageddon.

On numerous occasions Paul affirms over and over again that we as the Bride of Christ are not subject to the Wrath of God. God in Jesus took our wrath on the Cross and in John 14:1-3 Jesus says He will come again to receive us unto himself and take us to His Father’s House, He’s going to call us out of this Earth and take us to the place He prepared for us. So where He is we will also be.

Where is He during the book of Revelation? In Heaven.
Where are we? Also in Heaven.

Why? Because we as the Bride of Christ are not appointed to Wrath, our wrath was taken on the cross. Even the thought that Jesus would beat up His Bride for 7 Years and Take up up in a Post Trib Rapture just to bring them right back down is abhorrent.

Jesus, the Lamb, our God, Savior and King opens the First Seal in the book of Revelation, and He does that in Revelation Chapter 6, and there’s this huge celebration in Revelation Chapter 4 the Church is pictured in the four and Twenty Elders who cast their crowns at the feet of Jesus. Where did they get those crowns, at the Judgment Seat of Christ in Heaven, angels do not wear crowns.

As for my walk, my walk in in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit that God gives as a gift at the time you are Born Again as taught by Jesus Himself in his talk with Nicodemus. I have been led in my study of the scriptures by the Holy Spirit and guided in my life by the Holy Spirit, He is the one who speaks through these words I have typed to you.

The Adventist Church does not teach of Salvation by Grace through Faith alone– they tack on things that are no longer required, which were in fact never required of Christians, of gentiles as a whole. And instead of our perspective being a proper one of wow look at what God has done for me it is turned and twisted into how can I help God accomplish my Salvation.

In Adventism it is about adding to God’s finished work through Jesus on the cross by Keeping the 10 Commandments (which were a tutor until Christ) and especially keeping the 4th Commandment, which Adventist cannot even keep correctly anyway. Jesus doesn’t need to have our help in saving us, our salvation is already complete and secured.

The Trinity don’t want us in confusion about our standing in Christ, about the subject of our Salvation. That is why Christ made it clear on the Cross when He called out: “It is Finished!” Tellasti (sp.)! Paid in full! Nothing more had to be done by Christ and the only thing that we had to do was accept what Christ had done.

And enter His rest, we rest in Christ who fulfilled and finished everything, the Lord of the Sabbath is our Sabbath rest.

And now through the Holy Spirit Paul calls us to worship the Lord every day, and to hold no one day as better than the others. Christians have always worshiped on Sunday to celebrate the Son rising from the grave, not because of some Roman edict. We are admonished to boast only in the fact that Christ died for us on the cross, not about what day we go to church, that matters as much as whether the fish are biting.

The only thing that matters is are you born again, born from Heaven, born of the Spirit, because if not you will not inherit the Kingdom of God.

When you add to God’s finished work, works done by self, keeping a day or following a covenant that’s old and passing away over 2,000 years ago. That’s not resting in Christ and is at the very least heretical if not cultic.

I am not the same person I was when I was a child who could only handle milk and not the meat of the Bible. I have found my proper place, Christ bought me on the cross and He has ownership of me, I am only to do now what He through the Holy Spirit leads me to do. My life is no longer my own.

The Holy Spirit through Paul in the Epistle to the Romans said the following:

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

I have been transformed by God, the Holy Spirit, and that transformation will continue until Christ comes to take His Bride and we are perfected in His presence. On that great Rapture day, the day of rewards, of perfection, of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

I hope to find you there Mum, I am always interceding in prayer for you and all those I love. With much love.

      Your Son

Thank you for sharing this, Ross. I hope Evengelicals will take the time to read BOTH books. SDAs who are not fearful of their theological holes being found out should have no problem with your promoting them.

    ~ Nikki

  3. Thank you, Ross…your post is courageous and clear. The Lord Jesus is an offense when anything other than He is held at the center of reality. He changes everything. We live not with life that He merely grants to our bodies; in Him we live with His actual, personal Life that is the Light of men and women. This is not a metaphor as I used to believe; Jesus literally is the Life, and His Life is what brings us to life spiritually for eternity by indwelling us in the Person of the Holy Spirit. Amazing. Thank you for articulating the truth clearly.

  4. You would really have to be ready to refute them because they are better than we are at memorizing Scripture. Their main program on TV (I can’t remember the name) is a great presentation. It reminds me of the scripture about even the elect could be deceived.A good resource page is.

  5. brian condon says:

I say this in Agape love, I don’t know how you take the 4th commamdment and throw it all all away and keep the rest. Even Christ in Matthew 5 says that the law will not change till he comes again.

    • rossbondreturns says:

Christ also said that He came to Fulfill all that was said in the Law and the Prophets. He also said He was the Lord of the Sabbath and did many things (Heal) especially which ANNULED the Sabbath according to the original Hebrew of the Scriptures. What does this say, that as the caster of the Shadow of the Sabbath Christ is more important than the Sabbath…in fact Christ is our Sabbath rest since only He perfectly kept the Law. Yet He didn’t simply keep it He fulfilled it. Christ became the Sabbath Rest of the Christian believer, it is only when we stop striving to save ourselves that we surrender to Christ. And it is only when we surrender to Christ that we enter His Sabbath rest. We are in Christ as Christians and Christ is in us- and since He is in us He has given us a new heart and mind, and a New Covenant…not like the one given to the Israelites. The Law was designed to guide us to Salvation through Christ, by Grace through Faith alone not to be kept. No one has been saved by keeping the Law. No one will be saved by keeping the Law. As Christians we are called to live for Christ Everyday for Every day we are in our Sabbath Rest- I hold everyday alike.

On the other hand some do not, they attempt to mix a deadly cocktail of Law and Grace. Such a mixing like this leads to death for the Law is human works and Grace is a gift from God. Galatians is all about not mixing Law and Grace, it’s very firm on the matter. If you want to keep one part of the Law then you must keep every part of it. And since you can’t keep one part of it let alone many then your salvation will never be attained. The Law is a law of death. Can you keep all 613 of them?

Adventists judge us on the day we attend church, and then when we judge them back they say “judge not that ye be not judged”. I would not hold Adventists in contention, I would not judge them against their keeping of the Jewish Sabbath IF they did not make it the Seal of God and thus a salvational issue. By turning the work of keeping the Sabbath not only (and wrongly) into a Salvational issue they also (once again wrongly) turn the Sabbath into the Seal of God. The Bible is very clear the Seal of God is the indwelling of the Believer with the Holy Spirit when we enter into the true Sabbath Rest. God the Holy Spirit will not leave us, He stays with us forever, every movie we see He sees, every thing we do he does with us.

Salvation is not a revolving door, it’s not conditional depending on how you feel, it is secure. We are in Christ’s hands and we are in the Father’s hands.

We are IN Christ and Christ is IN us.

Since Christ is the Lord of the Sabbath and I am IN Him and He is IN me- I am lovingly embraced within true Sabbath Rest.

And the Works that come out of this Rest are those that my Abba Father set up for me to do before I was even born.

      In Christ,
