I don’t often do inofrmation updates about things that might be happening soon around the blog but I felt it prudent to inform you of a couple of changes one of which has happened, and one that is upcoming.

First of all my list of links is back just check the side menu: It lists my latest blog up top and I urge you to check it out, my writing blog is next, followed by my secular blog which I update from time to time but far less frequently than I used to.

Secondly the computer I use to write up my posts at home died a silent death and because of that I will only be able to write posts at the library while I’m online…and not before hand saving them to flashdrive. Since this is the case the content, specifically the length of the post won’t be up to the usual standards which I strive for, and I apologize in advance.

That said if anyone living in the inland empire has a laptop, or old desktop tower that has flash ports and are willing to donate it for the cause of keeping the content on this blog of high quality please drop me an e-mail at:

It would be greatly appreciated.

In Christ,

P.S. No I did not use a C-64 to type up posts, but my computer is just as dead.

The Yearning for Home

(Psa 84:1)
How lovely is your dwelling place, O LORD of hosts!

(Psa 84:2)
My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the LORD; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God.

(Psa 84:3)
Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, at your altars, O LORD of hosts, my King and my God.

(Psa 84:4)
Blessed are those who dwell in your house, ever singing your praise! Selah

(Psa 84:5)
Blessed are those whose strength is in you, in whose heart are the highways to Zion.

(Psa 84:6)
As they go through the Valley of Baca they make it a place of springs; the early rain also covers it with pools.

(Psa 84:7)
They go from strength to strength; each one appears before God in Zion.

(Psa 84:8)
O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah

(Psa 84:9)
Behold our shield, O God; look on the face of your anointed!

(Psa 84:10)
For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

(Psa 84:11)
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.

(Psa 84:12)
O LORD of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you!

Psalm 84 ESV

The Promise of Heaven

Someday soon the promise of Jesus Christ in John 14:1-3 will come true. Jesus yearns to come down into the sky and call us up to meet Him there. We as Christ followers long to hear the voice of our Shepherd and King calling us to come and join Him. And once we join Him we will be taken to Heaven, and our place of eternal residence The Father’s House. Jesus will not let His Bride come under judgment; we are not destined for the wrath to be poured out on those who are in and of the world. As Pastor J.D. Farag of Calvary Chapel Kaneohe puts it: “The purpose of the tribulation is for the salvation of the Jewish nation.”

2 Samuel: 3:16 And her husband went along with her, weeping behind her, to Bahurim. And Abner said to him, Go, return! And he returned.

Sometimes a relationship is filled with the unthinkable and the unthinkable can bring tears. In this case after quite a time David asks for His wife Michal to be returned to him for 500 Philistine foreskins. So much time had passed that Michal had actually married another dude and he’s not happy at all. In fact he follows along behind and won’t leave things alone, He’s in fact so sad that he’s in tears. Copious manly tears.

Wait hold on 500 Philistine foreskins!? Yeah, sounds like a brilliant asking price, and also sounds fantastically weird. Truth be told David did have moments where he did strange things, not to mention things against the laws that God had given to the Israelites.
