Jesus

I was looking through the Friends of the Library bookstore a few days ago when I saw a book with the intriguing title You Can Negotiate Everything. Intrigued I picked it up and looked it over, and then with a smile I returned it to the cart. You see while it’s nice to think you can negotiate everything that fact of the mater is the most important choice you make is not able to be negotiated.

Your Eternal Destiny

If you fail to repent and turn to Jesus Christ you will not be able to negotiate your way into Heaven. You could stand there in front of Him and argue with mankinds greatest ever arguments and you would not get into Heaven. You need to have a correct relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to be admitted into eternity with Him.

“But isn’t that narrow minded to say that Jesus is the only way to God?!”

Certainly it’s also 100 percent accurate, trust me a man made God can’t save you, and neither can a God being brought down to mans level. It’s non- negotiable.

Let’s say you were to walk up to me and physically attack me, I mean really clock me one perhaps even drawing blood. Could you then turn to another friend of mine and apologize for beating me bloody?

Of course not!

Our sins put Jesus Christ on the cross, we have to come to Him for forgiveness. We have sinned against God, Jesus was God incarnate, He died for you and me and everyone to remove that sin and cast it as far away as the east is from the west. Because of His unconditional love for each and every one of us, He came and died on the cross, He offered to give us eternal life in place of eternal death.

Accept that gift. It’s nothing you can do for yourself, only Christ can do it for you.

And you can’t negotiate that either.

In Christ,

Ross

  1. Logic DEMANDS there can only be ONE true God and only one way to Him.

If there were many gods, each with its own “way” they could not possibly ALL be right.

God is God. He is truth. His way is non-negotiable.

      Absolutley.

I couldn’t agree with you more.

As I stated in my post in my analogy you can’t ask forgiveness of someone you have not wronged instead of coming to the person you wronged and asking for forgiveness.

So many people create their own god’s or make themselves god and think they can gain freedom from their wrongdoing. But apologizing to yourself or someone else other than God through His Son Jesus Christ will gain you nothing at all…and ensure you remain on your way to an eternity in Hell.

You must come to the Cross, and call out to Jesus to regain a eternal life with the Father.
