Danger, Justice, and A Promise

Danger and Justice

2Pe 2:1 False prophets were among God’s people in the past, as false teachers will be among you. They will secretly bring in their own destructive teachings. They will deny the Lord, who has bought them, and they will bring themselves swift destruction.

2 Many people will follow them in their sexual freedom and will cause others to dishonor the way of truth.

3 In their greed they will use good-sounding arguments to exploit you. The verdict against them from long ago is still in force, and their destruction is not asleep.

4 God didn’t spare angels who sinned. He threw them into hell, where he has secured them with chains of darkness and is holding them for judgment.

5 God didn’t spare the ancient world either. He brought the flood on the world of ungodly people, but he protected Noah and seven other people. Noah was his messenger who told people about the kind of life that has God’s approval.

6 God condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and destroyed them by burning them to ashes. He made those cities an example to ungodly people of what is going to happen to them.

7 Yet, God rescued Lot, a man who had his approval. Lot was distressed by the lifestyle of people who had no principles and lived in sexual freedom.

8 Although he was a man who had God’s approval, he lived among the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. Each day was like torture to him as he saw and heard the immoral things that people did.

9 Since the Lord did all this, he knows how to rescue godly people when they are tested. He also knows how to hold immoral people for punishment on the day of judgment.

10 This is especially true of those who follow their corrupt nature along the path of impure desires and who despise the Lord’s authority. These false teachers are bold and arrogant. They aren’t afraid to insult the Lord’s glory.

There is Danger

Although this country was founded on Christian beliefs it should not come as a surprise that such things are now forgotten. That the Christianity that was laid at the foundation of this nation has over the years, been jack hammered by all kinds of groups, mostly in the name of equality, or the rights of the individual. It shouldn’t be a surprise that the Christian Morals have been judged to be divisive to the growth of this great country. It was only a matter of time before satisfying everyone ushered in a new morality, morals set by people who no longer lay claim to In God We Trust.

Humanism is the new religion if you will, everyone must be treated to equal rights and opportunities, and it sounds so good. I mean if we can set our own rules, our own morals, then we become our own gods’ in charge of our very destiny.

Except that all of this is pointless sound and fury, if we look far back in the rearview mirror we can see in our brake lights the Cross we ran over years ago. That sign of Salvation now has the significance of a fencepost because the last great superpower has thrown its once fine beliefs under the bus.

Emerging Danger

The Emergent Church that’s really not sure what many of its beliefs actually are is conning people from around the world. It’s distorting the message of salvation from the Bible and turning it into a circus of heretical teaching. They teach that when “God so loved the world…” it means “God so loved the Planet.” That’s right our Lord and Savior died so that the Planet could be saved, not us, they don’t want the blood stained cross, they don’t want to admit that they need that cross for salvation.

They want to take out all the controversial things and make it an accepting religion; in fact you don’t need salvation since you’re probably going to be saved anyway. Oh and there’s certainly no Hell for you to go to even if we’re wrong. Come up to the front and run your hands through the dirt in this container, this is what Jesus died to save.

People like a belief system that doesn’t require them to relinquish their control, a church that is accepting of everything and everyone. That’s one of the reasons that church leaders have no idea of what they’re going to say about homosexuality, they don’t want to rock the boat. They want the Emergent Church to be all-inclusive, just like they believe Heaven to be.

Destruction is Promised

Don’t fall for these elusive teachings for just as God brought down destruction we, as Christians know He will again. In fact there are already signs that God has removed His hand of protection over this country, the day after the U.S. said it would change it’s stance with Israel, Deepwater began and that still hasn’t ended. It would not surprise me in the slightest if God lets Humanism swallow up America, we certainly aren’t mentioned as a great nation within the prophecy of Revelation.

There will be seven years of God’s Judgment and Wrath experienced by those who live on the earth.

We Shall Not Face the Wrath of God

All signs point to imminent departure. The Bible teaches that those who are perfect in God’s sight are saved from the wrath of an angry God. It teaches that we as Christians have been saved by Grace through Faith and are not destined for wrath.

Jesus Himself taught that He was going to prepare a place for us and then coming back to take us to His Father’s House. Paul later expanded on that in 1st Thessalonians explaining the sequence of events of the Rapture or if you prefer the Gathering Together of the Saints. And we must be taken to Heaven, because we come back to Earth to be Revealed in pure white garments as our Lord and Savior leads the way on His mighty white horse at the culmination of the Battle of Armageddon after the Seven Year Tribulation.

And Justice will Be Served

Justice will be served; the Antichrist and False Prophet will be thrown into the Lake of Fire. Satan, the Dragon, will be bound up and sealed in the pit for a thousand years. The sheep will be separated from the goats. And when the Millennium is ended Jesus will make the final judgment sending those who didn’t acknowledge His Majesty and Sovereignty to eternity in the lake of fire.

Be Ready

Now is the time to open yourself to God, give up your life so He can do His greatest work through you. Follow the will of the one who called us and saved us, who asked us to be ambassadors and priests, to share the good news of salvation through Christ Jesus.

Mal 3:16 Then those fearing Jehovah spoke together, each man to his neighbor. And Jehovah listened and heard. And a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who feared Jehovah, and for those esteeming His name.
Mal 3:17 And they shall be Mine, says Jehovah of Hosts, for the day that I will make up My treasure. And I will pity them as a man has pity on his son who serves him.
Mal 3:18 Then you shall again see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God, and him who does not serve Him.

Malachi 3: 16-18 Holman Christian Standard

What a promise, what a call to us saints to speak and share in awe of our mighty God and King! Let us do right in His eyes and speak rightly of the great things He has done for us. So we might be written in the Book of Remembrance, so we WILL BE HIS not only NOW but on the day he comes to make up HIS treasure.

On the day He divides the Believer from the unbeliever.

The Day he Catches us Up to be with Him forever and takes us to His Father’s House.

In Christ,

Ross
