New Lyrics: Before the Throne

Posted: June 25, 2010 in Blessings, Christian Beliefs, Lyrics Without Music, Writing

I wrote these lyrics this morning it’s a Praise song about joining in praise with all the other Christian believers in Heaven after the Rapture of the Church.

Before the Throne (2010)

When will you take us away to the place of never ending day?
It must be soon when you’ll come to take us home with you.
And I can’t wait to see the face of my God and King.
The one who took upon Himself my Suffering.
And with the Saints of ages our praise will ring.

Chorus

Before the Throne, in our eternal home with angels all around.
We’ll all sing praise, to the ancient of days love will abound.
For His right hand was mighty and strong.
It brought us up to where we all belong.
Before the throne.

I’m so weary how much longer will you have to hold me up?
Sometimes eternal promise doesn’t seem enough.
The storms of this life they roil and rage.
Yet you are strong Lord and you never change.
And you promised to keep us till the end of the Age.

Chorus

Before the Throne, in our eternal home with angels all around.
We’ll all sing praise, to the ancient of days love will abound.
For His right hand was mighty and strong.
It brought us up to where we all belong.
Before the throne.

Hallelujah! Mighty Savior!
Alpha and Omega, The Great I Am!

Prince of Peace! King of Kings!
Through Heavenly halls Salvation rings!

Chorus

Before the Throne, in our eternal home with angels all around.
We’ll all sing praise, to the ancient of days love will abound.
For His right hand was mighty and strong.
It brought us up to where we all belong.
Before the throne.

In Christ,

Ross
