Films to watch for: Resurrection of the Christ

Posted: January 20, 2010 in Films

Variety reports on this news here.

To get the obvious out of the way, this is not a sequel to Mel Gibson’s The Passion of The Christ.

However it does sound as if it covers a lot more than The Passion did. We’ll obviously get to see our Lord and Savior risen from the grave for one thing. And judging from the title it will be a larger and more pivotal moment than it was in The Passion.

It is interesting to note that both films have the same Production budget: $30 million.

Christians around the globe flocked to see The Passion and odds are that based on subject matter alone this film will do similar business.

I’m eager now for Easter 2011, but as always I say to My Lord…”Come.”

I’m ready when you are.
